Onlookers or spectators fascinate them with their astonished looks and they often have fun teasing them. Their clumsiness often hides some prowess and their curiosity is matched only by their enthusiasm to meet you.

Presentation of the rehearsals :

  • Rehearsals (2 x 1 hour with a 30-minute break).
  • Children’s picnic supervised by the activity leaders.
  • Make-up and preparation one hour before the performance.
  • 60-minute parade or 2 x 30-minute parades.
  • The time is agreed with the organiser.
  • Children must wear black or dark-coloured trousers.
  • Children must be aged between 7 and 11 (or older!).
  • Rehearsals will take place in a gymnasium or a school with a courtyard.
  • 2 activity leaders must be present throughout the day.
  • They will also have to take part in the parade, dressed as Piafs.
  • During the parade, they will close the march to ensure the children’s safety.
  • The “Piafs” team will take charge of the children during the rehearsals.
  • The entertainers will take charge of the children during the breaks and the picnic.

 

The Organiser must take particular care to ensure that parents sign a discharge form for their children, who will be under the Organiser’s legal responsibility (extra-curricular insurance, civil liability) throughout the day.
