The KODeKs, and their oversized mother Ms Argentica, are back!

Tired of their tarnished image in the murky waters of a worn-out, over-acidic fixer-upper… They’re back: Here they are in the grip of a tsunami; sweating under scorching suns in the middle of a military exercise; swimming in the North Pacific’s ocean of plastic; planning a trip to the moon with EKon MusK; infiltrating brigades of demonstrators… Weary of the greyness of digital, without contrast, without exquisite soft half-tones, they return to the anthropo-scene (! ) *, armed with their cameras to immortalise, again in a humorous way, the colours of our age, the age of humans and their impact on the planet… And then, let’s listen to them too, telling us about the sparkling brilliance of a drop of water in the harsh light of early morning; the radiant paleness of a full moonbeam on a snow-covered peak in Tibet; the low-angled sunbeam that makes the shadows of bodies appear long and warm, in the late afternoon of summer… The KODeKs, these timeless witnesses, have not finished revealing their deepest nature to us: More playful, more clownish, more poetic, more curious, more generous and more life-eating than ever, they’re back to remind us that nothing is lost and to bring us messages of hope that could change the world!

* The Anthropocene is a new era characterised by the advent of humans as the main force for change on Earth, surpassing geophysical forces.
