Deixa Gingar (pronounced “Deycha gingar”) is a delicious blend of traditional and contemporary Brazilian music, with a hint of jazz and frenzied solos to get the audience out of their seats and singing along (and more).

It’s the musical energy of Brazil, past and present! It enters through your hips, stirs your guts, body and heart, fills your eyes, and resonates right down to your vocal chords.

Whether it’s winter or summer, an entire country, the size of a continent, is under the sun. An energy that emerges from the earth and passes through the bodies of the people who live there, expressed in smiles and relaxation, but also in the strength of a people who fight every day. It is through music that many Brazilians have expressed the complex, intense and unique experience of living in this part of the hemisphere.
