Julien ROUGE is a complete artist. Accustomed to the boards for more than 15 years, he appears in many formations as a singer, bassist or guitarist, and he has explored a wide range of different styles, ranging from Heavy Metal to Jazz, via Pop, Rock, Soul…
Today he is creating a new, very personal project that bears his name. A Piano/Voice duo with Variety – Jazz – Pop influences, with a repertoire where artists such as Gregory Porter, Ella Fitzgerald, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Robbie Williams, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish and Elton John are represented, but also French-speaking artists like Charles Aznavour, Nino Ferrer or Claude Nougaro.
For this occasion, Julien reconnects with his very first instrument, the trumpet, which he played for many years and which comes out of the case after 12 years of sleep. A real challenge. But with a little work the magic happens, the sensations come back, the sound is there and the pleasure is great!
To accompany him, he can count on Benjamin DUPRE, a talented pianist who also does not hesitate to give voice to bring harmonies and depth to the interpretations.
